Box Office Now Open for Diary of Anne Frank

The box-office is now open for the Department of Theatre and Dance’s first fall semester production - The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hacket. The play received the 1956 Tony Award for Best Play and was also nominated for Best Actress, Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Director. The play received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich. It also received the 1956 New York Drama Critics Circle award for best play. The play ran until 1957 and was revived on October 1997, in a new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, directed by James Lapine. Benedictine’s production features some of the most talented students this campus has to offer. Please come out and enjoy this moving and thought-provoking play.

Tickets are on sale Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Student Union, and from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Mabee Theatre Box Office on the bottom floor of St. Benedict Hall. Tickets are $5. The show runs October 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 p.m. each night.
